Use one of our shelters…
Using traditional bush craft techniques, we’ve built permanent natural shelters that you can use with either lakeside or woodland locations. With campfire pits, hammocks and a few creature comforts, we haven’t overdone the facilities as that would defeat the point!
There are currently four of these hand-built shelters: Woodland, South Lake, North Lake and Brookside. If you’ve been here before you might know these places and if not, rest assured, they’re beautiful spots.
Or, build your own…
You don’t have to use our shelters though, you can go all ‘Ray Mears’ if you like and pitch you tent in amongst the rabbit warrens or best pigeon ‘sitty’ trees or build your own shelter from scratch — this is a great team building excercise or the perfect activity if you’re out on your own with the kids on a great, wild adventure.
Fire!
You must always check with Pete on arrival where it is and isn’t safe or OK to light camp fires.
Camping is Changing…
Things have changed slightly in order to maintain your safety and the safety of others on site. We haven't completely ironed out all the details yet, so for now, if you'd like to come wild camping at the farm, you’ll need to get in touch with us to arrange it.
